It’s been a whole 8 years since SkinMarvin.com came in to existance…
I did have a bit of a geocities website before then, but even I can hardly remember how that looked…
The website has changed quite a lot in all that time, most recetnly with this new WordPress powered version of the site.
I’m really happy with the results and looking forward to making the site even better than ever!
…Here’s hoping for another 8 years!

I’ve been that bust working on the new-look website I didn’t even notice that my hits counter has just topped 2,000,000+.
That’s 2 million unique visitots (based on unique IP address visit per day) to the site!.
Not bad eh! Now if only I had a dollar for each one…

I’ve moved all the discussions over from the old site to the new one.
All the discussions on the old site where closed a while ago, but as the new site is based on Blog software, all the discussions are now open again, so you can start posting again. If you do want to post you will have to register on the site with a valid email address, username and password (something secure please). All posts are past through a pretty strict spam filter before being passed to me for final approval, so don’t waste your and mine time with them spammy posts…
If you’ve got some ideas for new discussions I’ll start a new ‘Suggested’ bit in the discussions section for you to suggest stuff.

PROFILE: Suppose I’ve been pretty boring for a while (getting on!), got fed up of hanging round the scene, Sheffield is crap as ever, Manchester seemed to have lost its charm, Leeds never really did much for me and Brum is too far for me to be bothered gettin there and back.
So I go out with my lad, you can bump into us up in Wakefield, or stay in watch a movie, have a ‘bud’ n that.
Spend far too much time surfing the web, been almost everywhere, guess that’s why I ended up building my own site. It didn’t start out that good, never though it would get as big or as popular as it now is, but then someone has to be :-P.
Don’t get me wrong I’ve been around the block a few times and had plenty of fun on the way.
