It’s been a whole 8 years since SkinMarvin.com came in to existance…
I did have a bit of a geocities website before then, but even I can hardly remember how that looked…
The website has changed quite a lot in all that time, most recetnly with this new WordPress powered version of the site.
I’m really happy with the results and looking forward to making the site even better than ever!
…Here’s hoping for another 8 years!

I’ve been that bust working on the new-look website I didn’t even notice that my hits counter has just topped 2,000,000+.
That’s 2 million unique visitots (based on unique IP address visit per day) to the site!.
Not bad eh! Now if only I had a dollar for each one…

I’ve moved all the discussions over from the old site to the new one.
All the discussions on the old site where closed a while ago, but as the new site is based on Blog software, all the discussions are now open again, so you can start posting again. If you do want to post you will have to register on the site with a valid email address, username and password (something secure please). All posts are past through a pretty strict spam filter before being passed to me for final approval, so don’t waste your and mine time with them spammy posts…
If you’ve got some ideas for new discussions I’ll start a new ‘Suggested’ bit in the discussions section for you to suggest stuff.

I’ve moved all the current Porn Film Reviews over to the new site, not as many as I thought. Using the search box you can quickly filter through them to find something interesting.
Each review now has it’s own page, should help the search engines point people to the site, if they are looking for a particular film that is. That could help increase the commission fee’s that help pay to keep the site running.
Will have to do more of theses reviews, you can never have too many hits and earn too much commission now can you!

All the current links, and a few more, have been moved over from the current site to this new one. Surprised how easy it was. Each link has it’s own page now (better for search engines that) plus, if you register, you can leave a comment, or a review, of sites yourself. Nothing gets posted without being moderated by myself though…

SkinMarvin’s New Look Website - Under Construction Now!…
Welcome to the beginning of the new look SkinMarvin website. The old site has been around for a while now and needs a bit of an update, need to move on from the framed layout too, to keep-up with modern technology and all that…
I had a long hard think about it and decided I wanted to do something similar like a Blog site with all the recent post automatically coming to the top, simple design and that. A mate suggested that I just use one of the Blog software options out there, so I had a look and experimented with a few and finally decided that WordPress gave me all the options I needed.
Enough back-end well built PHP stuff to run the site and enough access for me to customise the site my own way. Plus there is the added advantages that come with software like WordPress, such as having 1000s of other developers working on tools, widgets and plug-ins that can be use to enhance the site.
WordPress should make it easier to manage the content of the site, add new stuff, give you guys more options for feedback and open-up new opportunities for the site, such as forums and auctions and loads more…
So here it is, well the beginning of it anyway. I’m working on moving over the content for the old site, which will still be around for a while yet, until I’m happy with this one.
